How to: Change the Default Driver on a Route
Deliveries > Managing Routes > How to: Change the Default Driver on a Route

A vehicle is allocated to a route, and in turn that vehicle has a driver. To change this default driver do the following.

To change the default driver on a route

  1. On the Home page, choose Deliveries then Scheduling
  2. Click on the Routes Tab
  3. Using the search window find the route you wish to change the driver for
  4. Either right click on the route and choose Goto Vehicle, or click the hyper link for the vehicle
  5. On the Vehicle window, click Edit
  6. Using the Default Driver dropdown select the new default driver
  7. Choose Save

If you return to the Routes Tab and refresh the screen, the default driver has now been updated. This will only apply to any newly created manifests.

The default driver is displayed in the grid as a link. You can click the link to go to the driver.
